As always the breed clubs should be the first port of call. They will be able to put you in touch with responsible breeders as cavs do have a number of health problems. Also there are not many breeders who will sell two pups together, read this thread, although the breeds are very different the principle is the same :-)

You'll be hard-pressed to find a reputable breeder willing to sell two puppies together, because they know what problems this causes the new owner. Your best bet is to buy a single puppy, rear her well and train her to the level you're happy with, then when she's a couple of years old buy a second puppy. This way they're both much easier to train and you're much less likely to have the serious hierarchical fights that aren't unusual when two puppies reach adolescence together.

Puppy farmers, however, won't give two hoots about any potential problems you might have and only want your money.

And buying two Cavaliers from puppy farmers/back yard breeders/pet breeders will with almost 100 % certainty mean buying two dogs that both will need heart medication early on in their lives, and may only live 5-6 years.

Yes although they may seem cheaper to start with they will without a doubt work out to be a costly mistake and provide you with lots of heartache!

I agree with the others contact a breeder via the breed club and they will have had all the relevent health testing. Although the idea of two puppies together doesn't sound like hard work you will have your hands full just training one better to make sure you are happy with the standard that your first is trained to then think about adding a second as a fully trained dog will also help you when raising the second!cool
