I am looking for a male Tea Cup Poodle, I know that there are very few in the uk but if anyone knows someone that breeds them or, knows  of any puppies coming up, then I would love to hear from you, I am quite prepared to wait for one to come up if a breeder has a waiting list. many thanks.

There is no such thing as a teacup poodle.  Toy poodles are under 11 inches tall, and that is quite frankly small enough.

Teacup is a label used by puppy farmers for unhealthy runty pups who are small due to poor rearing and poor health.

To get a healthy well bred toy poodle contact the breed clubs listed on the main site or here http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/170 on the Kennel club breed standard page.

There is no such breed as a Tea Cup Poodle.  What you are asking for is a badly-bred runt of a litter - and you will not find a reputable breeder with any such puppy for sale.   Might I suggest that you might be better advised to change the breed you are looking for?

I would also advise you that any one who is advertising "tea cup" [any breed] puppies is not adhering to any breed standard, and will charge megabucks for a badly bred puppy.

Royal Dalton do good teacups I believe!

Sorry, sorry but as others have said there is no such thing as any "teacup" breed, this is just a word that the American's made up for some dogs that are actually at the lower scale of the breed standard!!

I don't blame the poster here.  I have had countless phone calls myself for T-cups!  I'm afraid that I don't do tact very well, and the last man who asked me for one, when told that there was no such thing, got very angry and told me that LOTS of people advertised T-cups!!  He honestly thought I was just fobbing him off.  It's true that breeders do get a naturally small pup SOMETIMES.  Perfectly healthy, closed fontanel, and eating well, and behaving normally.  And I always use girls at the upper end of the KC standard for weight.  However, knowing that tiny girls can't be used for breeding, the majority of us are exceptionally careful where the small pups go.  The unscrupulous do make it difficult for a lot of breeders.  As it is, I won't ever sell to anyone who asks for a T-cup.  As I said, I have a problem with tact!  I had one person phone up after a bitch pup, who asked if she was small.  I said, well she's not very big, she's a ***** breed.  When asked if she was small enough to carry round town "LIKE THE STARS DO!"  I tactfully explained that the dog had legs.  GRRRRR!!!!!
The hurrier I go - the behinder I get!
