My name is Simon Brierley i am the Handler for Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) in Norfolk and i am looking to source and select a puppy for the new year January time or even now.  The breed that i am interested in is Springer Spanials and i would require several visits to the breeder to run the selected puppies through a "PAWS" process of very basic tasks.  I would also be accompanied by an International UKFRS Dog handler to assist in the selction.

Are you able to help me out in sourcing a breeder in and around my area of norfolk. i am willing to travel and we are trying to look for a good puppy.

I don't know of any litters but our training club recently had a demonstration by a handler for USAR. He had two springers - a bitch and a very young dog who were both brilliant. He is based in Kent and may be able to advise you as to where his dogs came from.

A working springer would probably suit you better. I do know some people on the www.nobs.org.uk site have supplied spaniels to people interested in working them doing tracking and search as well as shooting.
