Rest in peace my little Gerbil.
I have just heard from the people looking after my gerbils that one of them has died. Not really sure what has happened but apparently his eye was all bloody and there was blood in the cage. I have had to be really calm to tell the kids that it is ok. These two gerbils got me through my first year in uni (hidden in my cuboard).

I know this is a dog forum but they gave me so much and I worry how Gerbil (the other one) will cope.

I am sorry to hear about your tiny friend......we still love them, however small.

Thanks. I think it will really hit home when I see Gerbil all alone. I just wish I knew what happened.

Aw, poor chap, perhaps they had a squabble, perhaps just bad luck. I had hamsters before I got my dogs, and was always very upset when they went. Run free!
