I have a Shar Pei with allergies to almost everything. My biggest problem is that she is allergic to yeast. I can easily find foods that don't have the meat source she is allergic to but the they have either the yeast or the wheat. A lot of the natural or allergy formula foods hide the yeast as a bacillus or fermentation product. Anyone know of a quality brand of food without yeast?

Fish4dogs has got yeast in it. The ingredients listed on the website are wrong. Realised this recently when I ordered a bag and luckily checked the ingredients. The ingredients on the bag are correct - no barley, but brewers yeast.

Naturediet doesn't have yeast in. Neither does Burns, Nutro (only the lamb and rice formula is wheat free though I think), nor James Wellbeloved as far as I know.

I have been dealing with these types of allergies with one of my Sharpei, she's nr 6 year old now, since she was 18 months, she is extremely allergic to yeast, so no sugars even natural sugars can she tolarate, as this feeds the yeast. She also mass produces yeast, so has to be medicated to assist. I have checked out most dog foods (completes etc) and most foods would "kick up" my girls issues, the only way I can manage her problems is by Raw Feeding and to watch exactly what she eats. This keeps her conditions easy managed.

One of  mine can't eat dry food. Barf suits him best but because he eats my other 6 dogs poo he is still getting the stuff that upsets  him. So now I've fenced off part of the garden for him alone and it seems to be working!

Burns seem to do a dog food for all types of allergies and intolerances - I would check out their website if I was you.

Hill's do an allergen free food(available in either tinned or dry format)its called Z/D.It might be worth trying?

Hello I dont know if this will help you. I have a staffy with a lot of alergies. ie grass enzimes make a mess off her skin and some dogfoods do the same. i have been feeding her for 4 years now on home cooking and she is thriving and has no more rashes/fur loss apart from grass enzimes in spring.
Here is what she gets for dinner. meat of some kind pork beef chicken fish I use a lot of poor folks mince (budget) from supermarkets as it has more fat content. i dont use lean meat. I add all trimmings of our food except onions potatos fruits etc. I buy reduced food or special offers on tuna salmon etc. People say they are better fed than humans.
Boil the meat in a pot add carrots or any other veg, brown rice  pasta brown bread and cheap corn flakes. I also give them bananas and apples. My vet says they thrive on it. I havent used any dog food of any kind in four years.
I can honestly say that it is probably cheaper than dog food. Mike
