We have just taken in a great dane puppy 11 months old and are unsure as to what to feed him. We were given a bag of Benton Kronon growth dry feed and were told to mix with tripe. We live in France and have not been able to find this food here or to find a good supply of dog tripe. Can anyone advise us of what to feed him and where to buy it. We live S.W. France close to Bergerac:confused

An abatoire woudl be your best bet for Beef tripe, and it can be cut up into pieces b9g enough for his meals.  It is smelly and if you cannot face this a pet store with frozen minced meats for dogs shoudl ahve it?

The food you mention I think is popular in Scandinavia among those who work show and breed.

Try googling for their headquarters and asking for a list of local distributors.
