Hi,
I am looking for some small munsterlander puppies from anywhere in the U.K does anyone know where I can find some ? Thanks ,Jenny

I don't think that there is anyone breeding them in the UK anymore, though I could be wrong. The only people I knew about moved to France (I think) a year or two ago. There are people in the UK that have SM's from these breeders, but as there isn't a large gene pool you may have to go to Europe I'm afraid.
Life is not a bed of roses but a comedy of errors
The breeder of the first 2 litters did indeed move abroad (czech repbublic) with work but I believe has recently returned to the UK. Unsure of their plans for breeding however.
There may well be breedings by others next year, but pups will more than likely be non-kc registered. I know with future pups, priority will be given to working/shooting/hunting homes only.
Have PM'ed you with email of someone you may get more info out of.

Why would they be not KC registered, I thought the breed had been recognised by the KC for inclusion on the import register, therefore puppies would be eligible for registration.
Barbara and the Grey Curly Tails.
The one bitch who is planned on being bred from is not kc reg. Not great really and doesnt do the breed in uk any favours.

Nope they are not accepted over here as yet. Maybe now that so many of us are coming off the import register in Jan, they might add some more breeds to it shortly? I know someone with Barbet and they are not allowed to register their dogs either over here.

Barbara and the Grey Curly Tails.
The KC added the breed in April 2005 - total of 18 dogs registered - all related. Complete 'B' litter (13 pups), parents (2) and 3 of the 12 'A' litter.
With unregistered dogs aswell, there is likely to be just over 30 in the UK.

Wonder why it's not been registered then? I find it strange how my breed was allowed to be registered straight away but others have quite a wait. Though there again, we've waited 15 years to finally be allowed to have our own classes etc at shows, so it hasn't been that quick :d
