Hi all just making a general inquiry, looking for breeders with very old blood line border terriers. I would like information about his dogs blood line heritage and estimates on prices.

Nope but if you could point me in the right direction of materials i would really enjoy researching it.

What do you mean by 'proven bloodline'? Proven in what way?

Oxcroft? Dandyhow? Clipstone?

Mansergh?

Otterkin? Foxwyn? Brockhole? Brumberhill? Farmway? Brockfox? Dykeside? Ashbrae? Irton? Thoraldby? Rhozzum? Tyrian? the list goes on and on or do you mean old working lines like levi oaks etc etc?

if you don't know the blood lines how will you know if it is a very old prestigious blood lines
some idea of which lines you are looking for would be a great help then we might be able to point you in the right direction.

i own border terriers and have some contacts. i just got a puppy from a good breeder for the second time he has some with old bloodlines but some more info would be great please

I'm interested in a BT puppy as a pet but don't know where to start.
How can I find out the traits of a particular breeder's line, so I can get a suitable dog ?

Your best bet is to go to a dog show - A Border Terrier Club show would be heaven for you    then you can look at the dogs in the ring and decide on the 'type' and lines/breeding you like and be able to talk to their owners/breeders

To get more info try contacting the Border Terrier Clubs/Societies, there should be a few of them.
