Mine do well on that too, as also do many GSD's, not surprising as it was developed by a GSD kennel.

Glad to hear this.  I have tried many foods but this is the one of my choice and I would highly recommend it.  Currently using Salmon but will try the lamb & rice next time.  I put one of my dachises on Autarky and his coat was just awful after a while.

I did find the Autarky too low in fat for mine other than if mixed with meat as part Barf or with oldies.  the puppy version would have been fine, but worked out almost as dear as the adult AG, as it came in 10kg bag, and I can get the AG on breeders scheme.

I did find the herbs in the Autarky benefited one of my oldies who got indigestion.  so often it is what suits a dog or breed.

Hi Brainless: CSJ do some great tubs of herb mixtures for various problems. They do one for tummy troubles which I gave to one of mine when he had chronic colitis and it worked beautifully.

I used denes herbal tablets, but having them in the food worked out better value as the food suited a 10 year old.

That's good news Mick.

My GSD's have also always done well on it.

Sorry to butt in on this but I feed my two Autarky but cannot find out the fat content (probably looking in the wrong place ) - does anyone know what it is?  I am trying to get the puppy one for my older girl as she is really thin at the mo but that's due to other problems etc etc and it would be interesting to compare the two products.
Another day, another lesson learned :-)

Fat content for Puppy is 17% and Adult 12%
