Many years ago we bought our lovely tri-coloured Border Collie Jess, from a breeder close to us, they lived near Chesterfield, their prefix was Drayshure or Drasa, not sure of the exact spelling or pronunciation. I have misplaced the paperwork over the years. Drayshure? Cherished Dream (jess) is still with us, we love her a lot, and we would like to know if her breeder is still breeding or if anyone has their lines. Jess has a very pretty face with an old fashoined look and not to straight a nose which I love, can anyone help with details of her breeders, I know they moved many years ago.

Hi - yes, are they still breeding Collies? I know they moved away?
Any info. would be appreciated, or if you know of anyone who has their pedigree lines. Thanks, Opalstar

Hi, no I dont think they are breeding now and only one or two of their breeding were bred on from by others so you couldn't really say that their pedigree lines still exist although there are dogs that have Drashia in the 4th or 5th generation of their pedigree.

Its the lovely gentle nature I was smitten by, and Jess has a sort of lovely dippy (curved nose) not straight, really pretty. she is a tri-colour.
I suppose most of the breed have that faithfull, kind, gentle nature, and so very inteligent, we love her a lot, not looking forward to the day when we have to say goodbye, although I know its not far away now, as she is very old. she is very stiff in her back legs now, and a bit deaf.
