Hi Leigh
Sorry there seems to be no change..
I haven't followed this thread before but I've just thought of this ...I had a problem with one of my dogs (not the one with the IBD! - my younger one) His food was going straight through and we couldn't work out why. I honestly thought he was going to die!! His weight plummeted to 64 lbs (he's steady away at 91 lbs now!) He was so pitiful to look at. All the blood tests came back relatively normal which was really baffling. I never did find out what he had but he is now recovered completely.
One of the things that the vet suggested was a course of PANACUR of all things for about 5 days. Apparently it doesn't just zap worms but also bacterial overgrowths and other lurking nasties. Ask your vet about it perhaps ...he might know where my vet was coming from!!!

Hi Lara. I tend to worm my lot every three months but always use the same product. Maybe a change of product might be in order. I will ask the vet when he phones with the results. Thank you for the suggestion
Some first stage baby food might work. It's very bland and easy to digest, little babies can't cope with complex foods, but there's almost nothing in there that's not needed.
If you look for any jars/tins that are suitable for 3 or 4mths then those will be fine. The egg custard and rice pudding are good - I was always advised to give those to Issy when she wasn't well.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him,
LOL Fiona

Leigh ...waaaaaay back in the 70's , after the children had been ill and in order to get them eating again , we used to give them a product called MINADEX .....might be worth asking at Boots or another Chemists if it is still produced.
I seem to remember it was a liquid full of vitamins and minerals and was used to get the children eating again
Love to Badger and yourself

Thank you Melody. I am going to have a word with the local pharmacist later today and see what they might recommend too.

Don't know if this will help in any way either but Pedigree do a food for food allergy dogs called Capolin and Tapioca, it is dry food, and is made from Capolin which is a fish from the Artic and not eaten by humans and tapioca, dont know if you want to try this
Hope you get the bloods back soon

Thank you Theresa, I will check the food out.
I am totally gutted at the moment. The vet told me the results would be back last night but they didn't arrive. So he chased the lab up this morning and has been told that the results will not be back before
Monday
What a nightmare Leigh, I know what it feels like to psych yourself up to hear the results and then be told that you have to wait more
