my bitch always has full blown phantoms and last time i gave gallostop which worked in a week. im wondering now as i get ready for the next phantom whether to start gallostop the minute i see milk or wait till her boobs are huge again? at 50 quid a time i dont want to time it wrong! does anyone know?

Oh poor girl. Mine had a phantom 2 seasons ago, no nesting thank goodness but I did get some milk! I just reduced her food a little, increased activity, and refused to pamper her at all. Sounds like your girl is being more elaborate though!

mine is horrific! we have about 6 weeks of milk everywhere and digging franticaly! she has milk for longer than when she had a litter! was going to spay her but the day i was going to phone vet she came into season 2 months early and she never has before so i have to time it right but have to live through phantom first but will use gallostop as it stopped milk in a week

epsom salts dries up bitches milk and is available from chemists

In my opinion, just the normal quantity of water per day for the breed helps...do not overload your girl with water, as this helps the milk production!

we always give a good handful of boiled cabbage to the food, a few days dries them up fine ........great if they will dring the cabbage water too!
