Had a call yesterday from owner of 10 month old puppy I bred. Puppy very ill, vet thinks Menigitic - help.
Has anyone heard of menigitic in dogs and if so what was the treatment and the out come?
Any help?????????

There is a thread over the last week or so about a puppy with meningitis, would e worrying if there is a spate of this going around, wonder if the area where the dogs live is similar?

Have read everything I can.

The 10 month Mini, Mackerson, is a bit better this morning. I have to say this has not yet been confirmed with a lumbar puncture, but all the symptoms sugest to the vet it is. Good idea brainless will do, it might be something in the area, not sure how they catch this virus.
Have also found out young pup as they might had also been playing with a toad, not long before he became ill!!! I know they carry lots of ucky things
Any thought on Toads and wht they may carry?
Any help and ideas please.
