our Boston Terrier is just over ten months old nearing eleven mths old and she is having her second season our two boxer bitches were a year old plus before thier first seasons, (boxers spayed now) this little thing has had two in the last ten months she has no problems just carries on being her normal mad self. Our vet said that as she gets older she should settle down is this true as we have not had a small bitch before not sure if this is normal in them thankyou

I have had bitches have seasons every four months at first and gradually settle down to every 6 months or so.

Mine are a medium size bred so their first one is usually about 8 to 10 months of age, but small breeds may start from around 6 months.
