My friend was 4th with Henry's nephew, it's been her ambition for 25 years to be placed at Crufts, we were both nearly in tears!! Wish I'd entered Henry after all, there were only 5 in the GC Dog class! My Yankee's dad was 3rd in Veteran too today which was cool. Looking forward to 8pm and watching the group!

Also thrilled that the Cav was Group 3, we were admiring him ringside!
By sam (*****) [gb] Date 07.03.08 18:32 GMT
well done to christine. I can vouch for the fact that both Dudley and the Tart are both lovely little TTs!! :-)

See you round the Beardie ring then, I'm in Junior Dog (and GCD!!) and Open Bitch with my two, though her breeder (in partnership) may need to handle my girl as classes will clash. Looks like the weather's going to be dreadful so just hoping it stays dry for getting the dogs from the car park to the halls.

Lol - Kay

Gundog Day. A Hat Trick...1st Junior Bitch with our 16 month old. 1st in Good Citizen with 6 year old and then my daughter won the Gundog YKC Stakes Finals with our 5 year old so we now have to go back for the Final in the Main Ring just before BIS on Sunday. Also got a VHC with our young Wire. Great day, over the moon. Well done to the rest of you and Good Luck for those still to show :-D

My friends Samoyed who I sometimes show was not at Crufts this year as she is on maternal duties, but I was absolutely thrilled to bits to see her sister win the group!!! Completely over the moon, so pleased for Lisa and Mioni. Fingers crossed for tomorrow - but also hoping the publicity doesn't affect the breed in a bad way.

I watched the American Cockers at the ringside yesterday, I completely fell in love with them, also watched the Tollers - Bekki I saw you and Felix, well done, he's stunning!! Haven't seen much of Tollers or American Cockers before but I have to say I was quite taken with both breeds :-)
By Trevor (****) Date 09.03.08 05:56 GMT
thought the group winning Samoyed was stunning - such a lovely head and expression - I had a good day yesterday winning 1st in Post Grad with my ( out of coat) French girl :-)

My baby ~ Maidinmotram Josiah Fox, got a VHC (5th) in Special Puppy.
He did very well, considering he's a daddys boy and my daughter took him in the ring. (hubby has to hide! ~ so missed it all)
He had a little shall we say "puppy moment" in the ring, which didnt go unnoticed....LOL...
but overall he did well.

:-) :-) :-) :-)

Well done Merlot!!! thats fantastic berner news too xx

Well done to everyone who were placed ~ and to those who didnt ~ as they say, you take the best dog home ;-) ;-) :-)

Hope you all enjoyed yourselves x
If YOU feel DOG TIRED at night ~ it could be because you've GROWLED all day long. :0)

1.5lb this week total 5.5lb - slowly but surely im getting there !!
By ice_queen (*****) [gb] Date 09.03.08 21:21 GMT
You did!  He won the YKC 17-25 senior handling.  He won the 12-16 class last year!  Unfortantly I had to withdraw due to clashing with the tollers.
By Star (****) [gb] Date 09.03.08 21:23 GMT
WHOOPEE! Pud won the YKC Stakes Finals in the Main Ring. Off to open a bottle now....
Well done to everyone else.xx

Icequeen, I saw you showing the Tollers! Thought you and the dogs looked great! I hadn't come across many Tollers before so I wanted to find out a bit more, and I'm glad I did as they're lovely. Congrats on your wins everyone!
By Reesy (**) [gb] Date 09.03.08 22:09 GMT
My bitch didn't get placed this year, but we had a great day around the boxer ring.
Barkin' Mad!!!
By Teri (*****) [gb] Date 09.03.08 22:15 GMT
We didn't go this year due to one due for a season (but not yet IN season LOL), another recovering from maternal duties and our new addition who has been keeping us up too late, getting us up too early and driving me insane in between :-D :-D :-D

HOWEVER - many congratulations to all on their various successes across the disciplines.

And a special WELL DONE to Missie (Dee) on winning LB in Leos (you picked yourself up off the floor yet kid?) :-D
Why bite when a simple growl will do ;-)
By Lissie-Lou (****) Date 09.03.08 22:27 GMT

Was most pleased with the open 3rd and GC class win as Lexi was rather lacking sparkle last year after returning to the ring after her litter.  I had a Friend handle her and she certainly didn't lack spark, and went like a bomb.
