Just need to tell someone how proud I am of my son Christopher, he is 15 on Sun and was diagnosed dyslexic when he was 8. He has put a tremendous amount of work in the last couple of years and it has finally paid off. He was put forward to do his Science GSCE a year early and his result came thru today and he got an A & a B(.5% off a A) :-). He will be resitting in NOV to get the A*'s ;-) and doing applied Science @ 16. I am so proud of him!!

Fab result and doubtless well deserved :-)

I guess he's too grown up for a kiss eek sent by a strange (very) woman :-D so give him a pat on the back from me!

Well done.  That is wonderful.  My daughter is 13 and dyslexic and finds things hard.  It is nice to hear things like that :-)

WOW! That's excellent news! :-) :-) Both my brother & dad have dyslexia & they both struggled through school with no formal diagnosis & not given any help or assistance.  My brother was simply put down as being a naughty boy because he used to get so frustrated with not being able to do the same as his peers! It's so good this condition is now widely accepted & there is so much help on hand for them! Your son & yourself must be chuffed to bits! Well done to him & others who have achieved so much in the face of adversity!! :-)

To let you know my friends daughter qualified last year as a G.P. she had struggled with dyslexia, but her mum is switched on and saw her through the many obstacles. So congratulations to him and let him take heart from his achievements.
