Hi

do you have insurance for your bitch that covers you when breeding her as i have my other dogs insured with tesco who i find are very good and will settle direct with the vets but they do not cover you for breeding bitches.

where can i find one that does?

Only have the dog I have in partnership insured, as can't afford the cost of Insurance for 4 girls and breeding risks is very expensive and lots of small print as to how long you have to keep insured etc..  I just rely on a line of credit if what I put by for the dogs vet treatment is not enough.

Agria have just bought out the KC insurance and are launching breeder insurance at crufts, so worth finding out what they offer.

Dog breeders Insurance offered it a few years ago but stopped as I think it proved a loss maker.
