Hi,
Got a litter of puppies doing really well, playing shouting all the usual, 7 weeks on Tuesday. Have been weaning on food I used for years, I do not use milk produces of any kind. Due for eye test tomorrow. I puppy is a little loose? I don't uasually add anything extra to puppy food!
Have anyone use scrammbled egg to help? Considering a little Yogart?
Any suggestions. :-)

have heard that boiled egg is good for firming up, but when I've tried it it hasn't appeared to work...

I usually boil up some white rice (well soaked and rinsed) and add that with good results.....

am sure there will be more tips on the way...

Thanks,
Any tips are useful.
I tried to edit but too late. Mum decided to leave pups four days ago and will not go back, I don't want to force her. I'm wondering if this is cause as only one pup effected and pup fine in it's self, but it has to be the pup I'm keeping.

my girl lasted 6 weeks feeding hers, which I was pleased with, as I was told by her previous owner that she dried up after 10 days with her first litter !!!

tho as I recall she did actually give the smallest boy a comfort-suckle when he had an off-day after being micro-chipped....

you can't help but worry tho....

well let us know how she goes...

was wondering...have you wormed them? Or have they been micr-chipped in last day or so?? A bit of stress will upset a pup's tum....

fingers crossed :-)

Wondering if it is stress,
Mum left Monday and yes wormed tuesday.
Could be that?
It's not bad enough for vet and pups eating, playing and shouting well and doing well - just worried about this one :-(

could be....and I know it sounds awful, but has she been eating any poo??? If pups eat poo it makes them loose too....

or even if she's eating too much, if she is bright and perky, and not dehydrated, just monitor her but try not to worry too much (virtually impossible I know)

I use pro kaolin from pet meds or vets abd can be used in very young pups and kitens.
