So now it's nearly all over for another year, what did everyone make of Crufts 2008?

I had a four day pass this year and was all set to visit every day, however the early starts got the best of me today and it was the only day I didn't go! I spent Thursday visiting Discover Dogs, and would just like to mention how fascinating and friendly the Malamute, English Springer, Pomeranian & Cavalier stands were. Friday I did a stint on Discover Dogs myself grooming a Sammy I also took the opportunity to learn about a few breeds that I have admired for some time but had very minor knowledge on - American Cockers & Tollers. I sat & watched the dog judging of both and have to say I am now completely in love with both breeds!! Spoke to some lovely people at the ringsides of both. Yesterday I watched the Samoyed judging and had some time on one of the breed stalls, and also did a bit of shopping! So all in all, I've had a fab time, especially with the Samoyed taking the group. Today I've had some "R & R" time with my own two dogs, who were feeling decidedly left out.

Getting all excited about watching it on tele now - Samoyed obviously for BIS, with Phillipe or the beautiful American Cocker reserve
