So thrilled he took it....al of them where fab dogs, but he was special ,and I liked the way, the judge gave her reasons for giving it to him

He owned the ring, and those dark eyes..Lol!!

Well done

I have always admired Phillippe from the ringside and am so pleased that he has finally gone all the way. A well deserved win for a beautiful dog.

SUPERB WIN :-) :-) :-)

A lovely line up but I was rooting for Kevin and Phillipe all the way as soon as I knew he'd won BOB - a dog that's just gone from strength to strength and has done all and more that anyone could have asked of him.  Now as far as I'm concerned THAT'S the real mark of a TRUE Top Dog :-)

Lovely result for the pretty Samoyed too - a youngster that's got real X factor and I'm sure we'll see more of her in the future :-)

Many congratulations to the owners, breeders and handlers of each of these very special dogs which made the BIS line up and of course to the dogs themselves.

Stunning dog, but we were routing for the beagle lol !!
Does that breed not grey much? we arent into that breed but i thought at 7yrs it would be showing some grey but it didnt even have a fleck of grey on it, is that the norm in that breed?

Having met Phillipe a couple of years ago I was rooting for him. You should have heard the shout when he won ;-) Well done to a gorgeous dog, and to his handler Kevin :-D

the samoyed gos to our ringcraft.the owner was right about her barking,
but the dog and handler did very well,

well done to the bis winner as well.

I thought he looked fabulous too.  Well deserved as Crufts is normally awful for the usual big winners.  I thought it was a nice line up this year - even though the Basenji didn't win the group which I was willing her to do! :-)  I thought the SCW was gorgeous!

the samoyed was my favourite, I liked her in her group, and I was rooting for her last night....

I thought Phillipe was handled really well, and was really pleased to see it was his owner too...that must be such a buzz...

Great result.  Great dog.  Well done to all involved.
Think Crufts 2008 will go down in history as the year for the Schnauzer.  Utility group 2 for the Schnauzer Utility group 4 for the Min Schnauzer and now BIS the Giant.  What a triumph for the "Schnauzer family".

I was soooo pleased to see them win.  Have spoken to Kevin at South Wales when he stopped me with my Spanish and he was such a nice guy.

I thought him then the Beagle but it unfortunately was spooked by something.
