I have a bitch that was mated on the 14 th Feb, she only had the one mating due to the long distance between us and the stud dog, they tied for 25 mins, myself and stud dog owner decided we we're happy to settle for that, she had her last litter 20 months ago.

This time is not showing any signs of being in pup, she has had a stringy discharge for the last couple of days. The vets can't do a scan on her until Tuesday.

I'm not holding out much hope for this planned litter!

My girl didnt show any signs until she was around 6 weeks, we knew she was in whelp as we had her scanned but if it wasnt for that i would of said she wasnt.

maybe you should try to see the vet today in case of infection.

Hi Cocopop, She was at the vets yesterday, as the discharge started tuesday evening, she is well in self, my vet is not sure so wants to wait till tuesday to scan her, thanks for your reply's Lois

I said that about my girl when she was 5.1/2 weeks, she went on to have 7 good sized pups, my OH said I watch her too closely and can't see her growing....he's probably right, just don't tell him I said so....lol.
