Hi All,

My partner and I have been seriously considering buying a dog. We have just brought our first home and miss having dogs around us, as we have both been brought up with dogs and having a sister who grooms dogs and shows poodles.

We have set our hearts on a French Bulldog, we are looking for a pied bitch, I do not plan to show the dog but my sister may want to. I understand that I may have a long wait and I need to put my name on a breeders list.

My question is how do I contact a breeder in my area (East Anglia) and get on there list?

Can anyone help?

Contact the breed clubs, and do not limit yourself to a local breeder.  That way you have the best chance of getting a well bred pup and club members will be expected to adhere to the breeds clubs code of ethics.
