im off work this week, and was wanting to take my ridgeback puppy to the beach one of the days weather permitting. i stay in central scotland and was wondering if anyone could recommend a dog friendly beach within a few hrs drive? ideally not somewhere thats too busy and scenic, as i want to get some nice pictures of him!

Not sure how far Aberdeen is away from you but a fabulous long and usually empty beach when we've been there!

Cheswick beach near Berwick.  It's always been empty when I've been there.  You travel south from the Morrisons at Berwick and its about 4 miles down on a left turning.  Park opposite the golf course and walk over the dunes.  Even Copper gets off the lead here!
