I spent most of my free time over the weekend trawling through holiday brochures and internet sites looking for a holiday to Cyprus or Madeira and its just unbelievable what prices they are asking.
Its not like we want to book high season or anything we are looking for April, don,t get me wrong I,m not tight or anything like that but they are asking an awful lot of money for just one weeks break.
Think I,ll spend my money on the house  or even a playmate for Sengi (eek) unless someone talks me out of it fast.

I,ll give it another week or soand have another look my brains scrambled right now.
I dare not leave it too long as I need to arrange airport taxis and Sengi care while I,m away.

>a playmate for Sengi

Much better idea! :D

Due to time and money I won't be going on holiday untill after I finish university.  I'm trying to save abit each year and save up.

My last oliday was christmas before last and all I had to pay for was my spending money and most of the flight.  Boyfriend paid part flight and internal flights were between him and his parents. :-( Just can't afford anything since and all spare time is taken up with working so I can afford to live!

But when Uni is completed you can then (fingers crossed) earn a decent living, and treat yourself to a good holiday. Ater all all work and no play is not to be recommended!

Is this your last year?
My Sons gf finishes this year, she did (is doing) masters as she couldn't bear for it to end....son did a years work before his final year as he didn't want it to end either!
But he is working and earning.....and spending too.
So good luck to you if this is the last run in.

Last year we managed to get a week in Rhodes (Pefkos) for just £170 each flying from Glasgow.  We booked with Co-Op Travel who we've used before and they were really good.  It was October but it was scorching out there.  I think there are bargains but you need to have the time to look.  Hope you get fixed up :-)
