
The original idea for 'Labradoodles' came from Australia - they were to be Australian guide dogs. The original straightforward cross was developed, and other Parent breeds were added, and in 2004 the official name was changed. So the 'Australian' bit of the name comes from the country of origin; just like 'American cockers'.
Yeah JG I know about that, don't get why the person involved was told one was a Labradoodle and the other an Australian Labradoodle.!
Re health results. The other breed has health problems, I think that the other two don't have as much, so that's adding yet other problems into the mix???
