I've just had to have my eldest Cavalier, Kaycee, put to sleep. Life had no longer any quality for him & so I had to make the best decision for him, if not for me.

Wait for me at The Bridge, old man. There will be a stage for you to act on & lap for you to sit on. You will be with your beloved Abbie again

Today from the bridge I looked down on you,
I saw your heart breaking so earthward I flew.

Today from the bridge, I heard you cry out,

There are many more creatures that need love from you.

Kaycee has just been brought home by the lovely chap who runs the Pet Crematorium & Cemetery & he will be with all the others who have gone to the Bridge now.
