You would either have to become joint owners of the affix and your mother would also need to become co-owner of your bitch or you could apply to the kennel club for a seperate intrest in your mothers affix.

Personally I would go with the separate Interest as then you each can own and breed your own dogs, rather than be in partnership with both the dogs and the litters.

Of course you could also own and breed some in partnership too.

It depends really as the second option works out more expensive in the long run as you both pay a yearly maintenance fee after the initial costs of taking out the seperate interest. Where as the first option you obviously have to pay to be added to the affix and then transfer of ownership for your bitch, but after that the same yearly maintenance as before. However it would also depend weather your mum wants to use the affix for puppies or to add to possible bought in dogs names as all her dogs would also have to be transfered into joint names with yourself if you decided to become joint owners of the affix.

Me and my sister are joint owners of our affix, all the dogs we have between us are in both names and when we have pups they go in both names as well.

Or you can transfer her into your mum's name now if you wanted but that would mean that you have no involvement in the affix so it wouldn't be your name down as the breeder.

I joined mum with her affix and still am with her now even though we don't live in the same house (my dogs go back their anyway when pups are due with me working full time, he, he) so she does still have a hand in them.

I added to my mum's affix some years ago now, I wasn't aware that there was the joint interest alternative to be honest,  but it's worked out ok for us.  It only came to light when I bought my spanish as I wanted our affix on the end & she was mine (mine all mine Diane :-D), so I had to transfer her from the breeder to our joint ownership.  It's worked out fine so far, think mum's quite proud of her new breed ;-)
