Hi, my dog is 18 months old and has occasionally had 'leaky' anal glands since she was a puppy. I've had them emptied about once a month or so in recent months and they don't seem to get infected or impacted but she is scooting on her bottom more frequently as she gets older and will often leave a stinky little puddle where she's been lying. Vet says removal is an option, would just like some other opinions please.
