Hi everyone

We really want a puli - I have emailed a number of puli breeders - but response has been limited so far and there doesn't seem to be any new litters around.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

All help greatly appreciated!

Anna

It's not a breed with huge numbers bred each year, so you will probably have to be prepared to wait several months or more. Your best bet is to contact the breed club/s and go through them.

As jeangenie says, contact the breed club/regional breed clubs and speak to breeders through them. Also try phoning the breeders rather than emailing. I find this works better and you get to ask lots of questions and generally have a good ol' chat about the breed!

Do be prepared for a long wait. However its always better to wait on a good breeder than rush into buying just because you've stumbled across a litter by chance. All good things come to those who wait! :-D

You can find details of clubs/breeders through the hungarian puli section in the main search area of Champdogs.

If your just looking for a pet and dont mind an older dog (or would rather avoid the messy puppy phase), try the puli rescue. Again though you will probably need to wait!

Goodluck :-)
