I am looking for a dog guard.  It is for the back of the estate part so that when you open the tailgate you have a guard with a door in-I do not want a cage with sides and back.

I have a full cage in my own car that I bought second hand from someone that had had it custom made for their car-best £100 I ever spent !!

This is for husbands car that is used now and again to transport dogs.

The best place to look for 2nd hand tailgate guards is on agility net and ebay. If you want new you can try Barjo, they are good but pricey or Steve Tubb fabriactions excellent value at around half the price of Barjo, the guards are not quite as refined but still do what they should and there is also MMG Guards which I have never used but they look good. We have a Barjo tailgate guard in one car and a Steve Tubb in the other and are happy with both.

I have an MMG and it's fantastic. Very easy to install, to remove if needed, and absolutely no rattling so I can recommend them.
Found HuskyGal stuffing it large with choccies

There are a couple on ebay at the moment.  I had trouble finding one for my old Vectra as they have stopped making the metal ones.  Luckily I hung out for months and one came up on ebay - during the months I was looking there were always Focus ones popping up.  Good luck!
