wich is the best was going to get welpi but is esbilac better i have already got some bottles just incase i am going to get the puppy colostrum dopram v and nutri drops next week i have just bought her welping box off ebay for £50 bargain i have vet beds towels whelping pads glucose rubber gloves ky heat mat and pretty much evrything i need really just a couple of little things to get question really is wich milk to get incase

I use Litterlac, and find this the best.  and cheaper if you order online!!

I have used Litterlac ( http://www.judgeschoice.co.uk/products.php?cat=23 ) with great success, but also found Nutrolac ( http://www.animal-health.co.uk/eMerchantPro/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=32 ) which is made from goats Milk rather than Cows milk, really good too.

That is fine for a nutritious supplement (and better digested than cows milk) but not as a bitch milk substitute.

I use Lactol. The puppies also liked it better than goats milk when I was trying to soak their food in stuff!

Litterlac here, never had any problems with it, the pups and mum seem to enjoy it too.

i have bought a 500gm tub of nutrolac for now if i need more i can get some more thanks for advice will get some carnation milk aswell how many bottles should i have

i used to use lactol until i discovered royal canin and now i swear by it. never a runny tummy!

I have Royal Canin puppy milk powder. If I do not use it and it goes out of date before the next puppy litter they will replace it for free, if you are in the breeders club. I have one in for emergencies. I think it cost me about £5 and came in small sachets with a bottle and 2 sized teats. Not ever had to use it yet though so I cannot say how well puppies would do on it.

My vets are agents for RC and they have the emergency package there, it comes in a tin with sachets of milk and a puppy bottle, although my pups don't ever seem to get on with those bottles, they do well with prem baby bottles.

We've been using Litterlac for a few years now, never had any upset tummies etc.

I have known people use both the RC puppy milk & kitten milk and swear by it.    I'm going to order a tub when/if we ever have kittens and if I don't have to use it as a supplement I will mix it in their food as I start to wean them.

Royal Canin puppy milk every time, it mixes very well, never a lump.  Bottles, teats and measures are all included.  We used puppystim for the first time and found it much easier than the nutri drops that we used to use.
