Helllo i was wondering if you all can help me
My BT cavalier boy's nose pigment has always been coal black and recently i believe (possibly from the sun) in the middle of his nose there is a light stroke of brown. i know maybe i may be worrying a bit much but he is a show dog and i dont want a brown streak to affect his chances of winning. Could it be just a suntan from the sun and will go? or do you think that it is a problem. The same thing has happened to my 2 other ckcs who had black noses but their noses have completely changed colour but i think in the winter their noses were black so im guessing its from the sun because now its getting hotter they go in their dog pen for a few hours of the day and maybe its a kind of sunburn. I would appreciate all of your guys help because im really worried
Thankyou

I've found
Pigment Plus from Animal Health very effective for scratches and marks on the nose. Worked very quickly too. Might be worth a try?

It is better to stay silent and be thought an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

Sorry but with the weather that we have here in the UK I doubt that it's really related to the sun. Surprised that you say it's better in the winter as I was going to say winter nose but it's usually the other way round than what you are describing.
My dogs aren't my whole life, but my life wouldn't be whole without them. 05/01/08 11 stone 12 lbs
yes you are right the weather here in the uk isnt exactly hot so im guessing it cant be the sun well i think im going to order some of that pigment plus and hopefully that will have a good affect

I've also used elderberry & nettle from Dorwest herbs, and kelp tablets for my Cav's nose pigment. Not sure if it works over years, but worth a try!
My girl has a tiny patch on her nose where the pigment hasnt come through, would this help do you think?
Worth a try - it certainly won't do any harm!
