I hope things get cleared up soon. I feel terrible for you and your dog. Not knowing what the problem is can be the worst part of it all. Hang in there, we're all pulling for you!

Not what you wanted to hear I am sure.

How is Badger doing now ? I know we went through the same thing with Min. We had loads of tests done and they all came back negative. Meanwhile Min was loosing lots of weight and seemed throughly depressed.

The only other thing I can think of is have they done some analysis on his poo?

I am not sure whether you had mentioned it ? When we had the results back it was found that she wasn't getting the goodness from the food as it was going through so quickly. My vet concluded it was more than likely colitis as everything else had been excluded.

As I have said before it took months before we found a happy medium to stablise her. I know it didn't help chopping and changing foods to try and see what she could stomach and what she couldn't. If they have been used to one type of food for a while as you know any change can take time to settle down and agree with their body. I think as well it is the same when a human develops a food intolerance. It can happen at any time in a persons life and is often a result of something changing in your life however big or small.

I went through two years of constant stomach upsets and had every test under the sun to diagnose what was wrong. It is always in the back of your mind that there is something sinister behind it and most of the time there is a logical explanation. I found that I am extremely allergic to anti biotics and it takes my body a few months to settle back down.

I know it is a very worrying time for you and I hope ypu will soon get an answer to what is causing Badger to be so poorly.

Hang in there.
