My dog ate a piece of jeans, which he threw up later (I'm not sure if it was all of it though).  He has been puking and has had diarrhea for a day.  He isn't eating anything but he is drinking water.  What should I do?

Take him to your vets would be the best idea.

Hopefully you have already taken Nova's advice re visiting the vet but if not, please do ASAP.  There could be something still in there that has yet to be expelled either end and it could cause a serious blockage.
