Wasn't able to pick up dog world this week, none left and wanted to know the order of judging for South of England  on sunday that should be in the paper today. I can't find it in our dogs. Does anyone know and did they also print number of entries??? I am looking for GSP's.

My word you're quick to log on then, you left at 4 & posted at 4.03pm (I don't know, this new fangled technology!)

I've been sitting here with me feet up as dh is out with the two leggeds.  Would have stayed at the show longer but he'd left my oldie out in the kennel & she thinks it's beneath her to be shoved out there (even for a short time).  Not worth getting on the wrong side of her as she'll only revert to puppyhood & destroy something as my punishment.

Thanks Terri for the comments, glad she's still moving well.  She can't compete against the substance of the lovely Archie, so I wasn't disappointed.  Nice to see that the judge had done his homework on the breed.  How did Pagan do, I missed that?!

Sorry I had to shoot off, but been feeling rough for the last few weeks as well as my old girl being home alone, sadly I didn't get the crafty nap I'd hoped for, but settled for watching last night's Dr Who & a certain dvd courtesey of Jenny!

Well BIS judging what a farce....Took them forever to set up the ring, even though they had called us all to the collecting ring we waited 1/2 hour before they were ready, then they changed the mats again, leaving a mat that was rucked up and overlapping the wrong way...I called a steward and asked them to change it, which they did and taped it down.....
A lady with Irish R&W she said to her Oh Im surprised your dogs are so well muscled (the lady in question was on the larger side) But how rude....!!!!
The Cocker man whos Cocker was wagging its tail and he jokingly said stop wagging...she said It doesnt matter I dont like Cockers anyway....
Archie she didnt even go over touched his head and made a comment about coats like astrocan.......He did yawn in her face as we were put at the end of the line up (didnt know where to put us) and he was sooo bored by that time, but he moved OK...
Sylvies Puppy...wait for it.....didnt touch it at all and told her to go and stand over there...(back in the line up) when Sylvie said oh dont you want to see her move then said Oh alright go on then.....in an condescending voice.....Sylvie is new to showing and was rightly upset by this...Said she wouldnt stay for a puppy group again.......!!!!!!!!!1
Im sorry but if you wait all that time for the BIS judging you have the right for your dog to be looked at and gone over, she didnt move to look at the dogs moving properly, sorry but if you cant judge giving everybody a fair go then you shouldnt be doing it....If you cant stand, move or bend to go over a dog, then you shouldnt be doing it...If I am ever in the position again and she is doing BIS I wont be staying........Lots of people were shocked at her attitude........

A Lab...which was also a puppy so automatically BPIS...but when the boards were put out, she didnt immediately put him into first place, so the 2nd placed was puzzled as to why she was 2nd.....and so on down the line, she then called him out at the end......weird or what.......Not a bad Lab bit fat and roly poly for me.....but sound.....

they should have put the dogs alph order like they do at champshows
