I am looking for a yellow labrador, must have good hip and eye scores, will travel, but North East England prefered.

You can't test hips until a puppy is about 1 year old at the youngest so the check must be on the sire and dam. this will not give you a guarantee but it's the best you can do. Eyes could be tested but most people don't test again until around 1 year so again, check sire and dam have been tested. Can't help you to find a puppy though I'm afraid because I'm at the other end of the country.

There doesnt seem to be many puppies available in the North East at the moment (believe me i've been looking)
But if you're patient the Northumberland & Durham labrador club have a puppy register contact:

to get on this register the members need to prove that the parents have been hip & eye tested so this is probably your best bet.
There are loads of puppies in the Ad Mag but seeing that none of these are registered with the lab club it would be down to trust on your part if you wanted to contact one of the sellers (most of the sellers advertise every week so look a bit dodgy if you ask me)
