Hi,

We live in Spain and are looking for a recommended Dogue de Bordeaux breeder that either lives in Spain/france or one from the Uk that is willing to export a pup.  We don't intend to get one for possibly 6 - 12 months but would like to establish a relationship with a breeder before hand so we know we are getting a quality pup.  We don't want to show, we just want a good natured, healthy pet.  I have looked on various websites but I feel it would be better to have someones view on the breeders.  We already own a 7 year old Dogue de Bordeaux bitch which we have had from a pup but she has had problems with her health so now is not the right time as we want to dedicate ourselves to what time she has left, hence the reason for waiting also.  Thanks!

Hi Bertha.....I am posting from Italy and we had a DDB  from breeders in Varese, N .Italy.They have a website.Their dogues are of the heavier ,old type mollossoids. My girl was 52 kilos,but very athletic.In fact we achieved an "excellent" in the obedience trials.(similar to CDX) Most italian breedlines have this breeder's dogs in their pedigrees----I have only good things to say about this kennel.Why not give them a try when it is time?

Are we allowed mention kennel names? Theres a couple of brilliant kennels in the UK & ireland but theres also some great DdBs in both spain & france. PM me for details if you wish.
