I had to take Bailey to the vets today as he was sick several times this morning and he has told me to fast him them put him on a light diet for a couple of days ie Chicken & rice but what I need to know is how much do i feed him? He has 300g of Eukanuba a day normally He has also got some paste to have twice a day for three days in a horse wormer type syringe which is going to be fun :D Any tips greatfully recieved!! :D:D:D

Tracy, I'd go for about 400g, split 50/50 rice/chicken. Don't worry though, he won't starve over a few days if you get it a bit wrong, plus lack of food will probably help. After 3 days you'll be fed up of cooking up rice and chicken and glad to get back to normal

Hi Tracey, sorry to hear Bailey is not too well. Has he had any diarrhoea ? If so, mashed potato is worth a try (proper potato rather than Smash !). Helps to 'firm' them up a bit.
