As I have said B4 I prefer this board to the old one.
I find that it is quicker and easier to use once you get the hang of it

I also like the fact that you can have your own settings and profile.
And also I find there is not so much having to hit the back button.

I like being able to change the font size, I've changed that to 11 point and the Topics Per Page changed to 0 also the Posts Per Page again changed to 0. that does away with the pages when there has been a lot of posts on a topic.

Does no one like the Search facility (that actually works), the automatic emails or the ability to edit your posts ?

Or are they all just taken as read

I can't say that the emails do anything for me and haven't had cause to use the Search thingy. The chance to edit is the biz tho, especially when youv'e had a few Malts !!!

Agree with Leigh the edit button is great.

I disabled the e-mails and I also have not used the search option yet.

Leigh I find after a few drinks my spelling get's better lol

I like the edit button too! I don't use the email facility -I already get too many of those I'm sure the search option will be great when this board has been up & running for a bit longer - I haven't needed it yet.

I assume as the other say it will just be a matter of getting used to it really but I must say (huge breath) I did prefer it as it was before (grovel grovel).......It was easier to see who was about but I SUPPOSE for exactly what it's intended for it is more use as it is now.

And now i will dissappear in a great cloud of smoke! I am off to burn my enormous muck-heap!

I love this new board. Love the edit facility - should hopefull prevent some of the posts where we say what we don't mean but don't realise it until after we've hit send - the edit facility is the bizz. Like the smiley's too. great fun.

I very much like the new bits this morning - read articles, new ones and how many new messages there are in each section

The Active Topics link is the biz ! Saves so much time, and you don't have to trawl through each category, unless you want too

I do think that there needs to be a more "visable" link to the main site from the Forum though Mark ?

Sorry Mark, I've been on the new board right from the start and so maybe I'm a bit thick but I've only just this minute found that clicking on the "Champdogs" name at the bottom takes you to the rest of the sight! You really do need something to tell people about it!

I love this new board. It takes a while to get used to it though. The one thing I really love about it is the fact that because I have to login, I can go on any computer and still be able to see what messages I have read and which ones are new. On the old board, if I used my computer at home I would have to re-read alot of messages as I forgot which ones I had read at work.
