hi just wondering if anyone can help with this one you all seem pretty good on most things. right creeping over
a friend of mine has had several birds flying into her patio doors this years never happened before shes worried one is going to kill itself the last one on sunday woke her from sleeping on the sofa it hit so hard (she works nights with me) any advice greatfully recieved

Although they look a bit naff/tacky, the sillhouettes of raptors, usually a kestrel, that you can buy in garden centres work very well. They have self adhesive backs and are life size & when the bird sees them it veers away from the glass.

My parents have sliding glass doors that used to have a high body count They started putting on those small window prints which use static cling to adhere to glass. There's a whole collection of Tiger, Pooh, bird imprints, stained glass window, and other stuff on there. Quite festive and no more bird casualities :D :D :D

Hi there, you're friend is lucky it's just birds that fly into the doors! My silly Shiba does it regularly, esp at night when I shut the doors when they dogs are out to stop the moths coming in! I've never had birds do it though, probably because during the day there's usually a stcky child behind the door which iks enough to make anyone veer away :D

I used to have an electronics stand for my VCR/stereo set up. Always had to be very careful to remember to keep the glass doors shut otherwise the 'girls' would run right into them. The first time it happened, Pepper almost knocked herself out since she was running towards the window where a cat was lurking. She hit so hard, I was surprised that the glass didn't crack :rolleyes:

And if you're like me I laugh everytime he does it, just can't help it
