Its been 3 years since my beautiful  blue great dane Shadow made his way to the bridge.  I didn't want his anniversary to go unmentioned.
I had so many messages of support/advice on CD when he was taken ill with cancer.  I posted on a daily basis and many of you followed his story from beginning to end and shed tears with me along the way. 

I will never forget my soulmate.  Keep playing at the bridge Shadow.  One day I'll be coming to meet you.

Remembering You

Your time on earth seemed all too brief
because I wanted you in my life forever.
And although I really miss you,
in my heart I know that you are at peace.
Still, countless times throughout the day
I find myself remembering you.
Although I cannot see or hear you,
I know that you are with me.
I'll feel you in the warmth of the summer sun.
I'll see you in the brilliance of autumn leaves.
You'll be beside me in the peacefulness of a gentle snowfall
and rejoice with me at the emergence

Do you know - I wasn't a member then - but I am sure I remember you posting on the first anniversary, and going back and reading his posts to find out about him...

I can't believe it is 3 years already...I remember it well and shed many tears for you and Shadow at the time (and a few more just now).
