Seems to be of late that most of the new are Blogs are in fact folk asking questions which would be better posted in the Forum. (Rather than using it as 'A Blog' ~ Online diary)

It seems to be going the way of the Chatroom! eek (I miss the Chatroom.....)

Anything that can be done to differentiate Blogs and Posts for those members that are new to all this???

I find it amazing that folks in this day and age don't know what a blog is!  As for the chat room I always felt that old friends were talking there and to chip in was intruding - even having a read made me feel a bit of an eavesdropper.

Yes HG I noticed that!!!
Now I dont ever look LOL
Maybe the blog section should not be there LOL

Whoops! Should have read that before posting...makes no sense!
What I meant to say was;
Most of the new entries in the Blog section are people mistakenly posting questions rather than 'blogging'

I've had a look at the front page and cant really tell how the confusion arises?
Just flagging it up here in 'Feedback' :-)

Done well and some peoples blogs are really great reads. Roz used to do a great one and when JG used to let us peek at hers it was hyyyyysterical both really entertaining. I love reading good writers :-)

I've never actualy seen any of the blogs used as they are intended.I think people mistakenly post there instead of the boards.

Me Me!  I tried but haven't got much to say.  MichelleD started an interesting one with the training she was doing with her two - but she has obviously chosen to spend the time training rather than sitting at the computer :-)  Unless you are an ardent diary writer a blog is time consuming.  Anyway most folks tell us their adventures in other sections - especially when their dogs have done well - so not much use for a blog really.

Well, this is what I too am wondering....
But
What a lot of folk seem to have forgotten is that, the blog area is where we are allowed to post our own photo's! So its worth it for that?

Oh I didn't know that.  Have just sent for a photo of Meg - there was a photographer at the agility competition this weekend and he has posted one of her weaving - I have paid for a copy. Now my hubby says he will come along to the next one and take some better ones!!!  Notice I didn't have one for the photo competition.  Watch my blog!!!!
