I know we tried our hardest for you, but we couldn't get things to work out for you.  I know you are going to be loved so much, and I'm gutted I don't get to be the person who loves you and looks after you.  It's almost worse knowing you're out there and I can't be with you.  Tonight I feel like I had a hole ripped in me when they took you away, seeing you walk away knowing I'll never see you again has broken my heart.  I love you, my first dog, and will do forever.  I'm so sorry my darling.

If anyone can give me any advice or kind words because my girl is gone, I can't stop crying and I hurt really badly.  Thanks x x x

Its so hard, but know you tried your best, and the memories you have, will keep the love going.  Whether they are with you, or somewheres else, they will always hold a special place in your heart

So so sorry its awful I know it never gets any easier when we have to make these decisions.But time is a great healer. Think of all the joy she brought to you.

I am so sorry for your bad news, i have been there like a lot of us have and its such an awful tearing pain inside you which feels like your heart is going to tear into a million pieces. I just hope you know that she will be happy and well where she is and that you will both meet again one day, try not to think of the hurt and pain, think of the good times and cry with happiness

you did all you could so you should feel proud that you have done this for her.

thanks, I can't see the screen for the amount I've been crying, I came home tonight and to not have her come and greet me and say hello is awful.  I called my other dogs and I called her name, didn't even realise I did it til my boyfriend said she's not here anymore.  Just broke down again, I miss her so much I feel sick.  Is this normal?

Perfectly normal, you are greiving for a friend just take it day by day and don't worry about how you feel.

My heart goes out to you,if there was anyway we could stop the the hurt but griefing is a process we all have to go through and we all know to well loosing a very young just recently
Know matter how many we have got each one is very special

Have you sent Penny to Rainbow bridge, or did you have to rehome her in the end????
