I already have one from very poor stock but her personality has won my sister and her partner over. Both had been thinking of getting a puppy but decided for sure that it is going to be a CKCS.
Now, obviously they want a breeder who is reputable. The
must test eyes, heart, patella and of course ideally have scans for syringomyelia. They also ideally need to be in the North West area - not particularly fussy as they live in Huddersfield but both have family in Manchester/Warrington areas.
There isn't an issue for suitability for a puppy. My sister has been given about ten books for research of mine (she asked for them so will read them), both are from families that have had dogs (first dog of their own though), my sister's partner will work from home and they are waiting (yes, I know, how original!) to afford it but would like to contact a breeder.
