Just wanted to put a short message on here as its 1 yr tomorrow since i lost poor Hamish my little westie, i still miss him terribly and wish he was still here with me, my only relief is that i know he is no longer suffering and is now at peace where he can run free with all his friends.
Even though i have now got Robbie my new little westie i will never forget him and he will always be in my thoughts as he was a truely super dog who had such a lovely temperment and was beautiful before words.
Sleep tight old chap Mum loves you so much and 1 day i know i will see you again for lots of cuddles and kisses.

I remember too - really a year ?.
What a wonderful chap Hamish was, such a fighter, a real charcter.
I'm so pleased you have little Robbie, and if Hamish was anything to go by I'm sure Robbie is loved to bits !.
Yes Robbie is a super little man and i wouldn't be without him for the world he has made such a difference to my life as i missed having a dog around like crazy, i will never forget Hamish as he was my special little man and meant the world to me as he was so so special i would give anything to have him back again but i know its just not possible, at least i know he is out of pain now and can run free and enjoy his life with all the other dogs that have gone aswell to rainbow bridge, i know some day i will see him again.
I love Robbie but in a different way to Hamish i would never compare the 2 because they are different dogs and would never want Robbie to be like Hamish because he is a different little person, they have got such different characters which is nice, i would have loved Hamish to have known Robbie as i know they would have been great friends and loved to play together.
I got a rose bush named after Hamish to put in the garden for his anniversary and named it My Boy Hamish i was so pleased i managed to get 1 as i had been looking ever since i lost him and it made my day when i found 1 for him, he was my treasure and my first ever dog who was perfect in every way.XXXX

I can't believe that it was that long ago. Glad to hear that Robbie's doing well.
If I wanted a Poodle, OES, TT or IWS I would have bought one. SWD's shd. be natural and rustic. No

Gosh the time has just flown by. Thinking of you and Hamish, RIP I am sure he will be waiting for you at the bridge for however long he needs too. Love and Hugs

"Dogs feel very strongly that they should always go with you in the car, to bark loudly in your ear!

Thinking of you. Its never easy when you hit the 1 year milestone, but time is a healer and it does get easier.
Enjoy your little Robbie.

I too cannot believe that it is a year ago.
I think the first anniversary is the hardest one. God Bless Hamish.
