Hi my rough collie bitch Bria finished her season almost two weeks ago and since Monday each morning she has vomited frothy bile once this has happened she is as right as reign .She has a good appitite and is lively and playful as usual do any of you have any suggestions that will ease this problem or does she need to go to the vets?Thanks in advance Gillian

In my experience frothy bile vomit is due to gastric problems and nothing to do with being in season! I give some antacid in the water which helps alot......it can be a pre-curor to bloat so watch it carefully.

Thanks Sam will try that and will definitely be watching carefully although this is just first thing in the morning will take her to vet tomorrow no harm in acheck up.Gillian

Edited for update vet prescribed tagamet,antepsin and bland diet for a week(three small meals a day) hopefully that should resolve it or back next week for blood tests!
