If anybody out there has one of these collars they do not need anymore, please let me know. I am interested in buying one.

Can I ask what they are?

It is a collar that will spray a puff of citronella when your dog barks. It teaches them not to bark. I borrowed a friend's on Saturday and already have seen a HUGE difference! I am now buying one - a local store is ordering one for me at a discount. However I have been emailing with MAZ from the ad below and hers is still available. They retail for around £80!

I would totally recommend them - my use of it was as a last resort. IF you can work with your dog and not have to go that route then of course that is better, but I wore out all other options. In this case Chelsea has picked up the idea FAST and I'm pleased with the collar, with how humane it is, and proud of how quickly Chelsea hastwigged to the purpose of it. Even when not wearing it she barks very little now where before it was almost constant.

Actually - Chelsea is FAR less stressed now that she doesn't feel she 'has' to bark. She was a bit more stressed the first two days, but once she caught on she is soooo much more relaxed. Watches the neighbourhood without working herself (and me) into a shouting frenzy! We're really pleased with the results. (And I'm sure if you came round Chelsea would totally consider you a friend)

The attachement on the collar is set off by the dogs bark and then a spray of citrenella is aimed at the dogs nose, to stop the barking. I have been told they are very good and have a good success rate.

They are a collar which is triggered by dog barking and delivers a spray of citronella or similar which will discourage barking. Also comes in remote control version which can be triggered by hand held switch Anne

The remote one is really the better option if you have more than one dog as any bark will trigger the other collar and it may not be being worn by the culprit:D Gillian

I have both types of Collar and would recommend them 100%. They are distributed by ' The Company of Animals '. Their website is http://www.companyofanimals.co.uk/

I was told by a TT breeder that some pet shops hire them out so it might be worth phoning around because they do seem to be effective so you might not need it long.
