Hi all,

Our family has always black lab retrivers.  Looking to get another pedigree puppy but I dont know where to start.  We want to trace back the bloodlines of our original bitches as we have always done this (well, the old man did and its his surprise so he cant help!).  I have set up a link that outlines the 4 generations as follows:  http://www.perfectpedigrees.com/4genview.php?id=1876

This is actually the Auntie (Jody) to our last pup but I cant find the lastest pedigree certificates.  Can anyone help - really hoping we can find our next little monster soon!

You have some good names at the end of that pedigree - what I would suggest is looking at this site :-

http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/dogs/labrador_retriever/search.html?      and then searching for the g-g-grandparents.....you might not find them all, but its a good start.

Sarah Coomber-Smith bred the Abbotsleigh boy in that pedigree.. and has some good working dogs out in the US at the moment.. I used to know Sarah very well.. she is past secretary of URC Northern.. and lived quite close to me.. she moved down south around 4 years ago.. and I no longer have her e-mail address (Lost everything on old PC).. if you google either her name.. or her Affix you should pick up some good working lines linked to this..
