Now dont laugh.
I purchased some false nails for one of my dogs.He used to wear his front nails down.
He had arthritis in his elbows and his nails wore down to the quicks.
If they are of any use to anyone please let me know.

I did from America. They helped him a lot.I bought the clear ones. They sold them in pink and black also.I was going to get him pink then I changed my mind.LOL
They would be useful if a dog split or broke a nail.

Thanks for your post, I was feeling a bit down today, this made me laugh, ROTFLOL, I just can't imagine a dog with false nails, i've bitten all my nails practically off over the last 8 months, would they be any use for me !!!!!!!!! seriously though what a good idea especially as you say if a dog has broken a nail etc.

Looking through my latest pet catalogue, they now have 'false nails' for cats... 3 sizes, lasts 4-6 weeks. Colours: Purple, Hot Pink, Natural clear, Blue, and Bright Red . I'm just wondering about the "risk" of putting them on a cat that doesn't want them on him/her
cool

There's a cat round here could do with some of them:rolleyes: My tom cat 'Thai' has came in after as night on the razz again with a few claws sticking in his neck! Obviously been fighting again:rolleyes: So some poor cat has had his claws ripped out!

Oww! On second thought, Ow! again.
Never having cats, nor likely to in the near future, I just find it fascinating how much "liberty" these animals have in a household.... they go out at night: They jump up on counters and tables: and other than deigning to be petted, what do they really do for an owner???? :-) Sure, they kill vermin, but they'd do that anyway.... it's their Naiture ;-) :D

They don't do an awful lot:rolleyes: Don't ever get a cat- they can be the most sulky animals I've ever met!

Stacey

You're wrong about not doing a lot - they leave hairs everywhere (worse than dogs), they make a nest in beds, anywhere that you're "silly" enough to leave the door open to (even in your neighbours beds if they're "silly" enough to leave their own patio doors open), they walk on your sideboard where you prepare your food, they'll lick your plates when your not looking, they'll sleep on your face and then stick their claws in when they deem it time to get up, and if you really upset them by bringing a small Dobermann into your family, they'll S**t on your bed, even worse, with you in it !!!!! :D :D ;-)

You're right about the other thing - Don't ever get one !!!!!!!! :-) :D

P.S Stacey, did you get the email I sent you last w/e ?? I'm not sure whether I've got a problem with my mail or whether you just haven't been bothered to reply :D :D tee hee

I haven't got any mail from you- it was me who thought you were too ignorant to reply:p And you've got more problems than just your email- I can tell you- every time I see your name pop up- I automatically think 'Oh God what's he done now':p Or should that be 'Who's teeth has he knocked out now':p His name is Thai- but I'm changing it to 'First time he ever s**ts on my bed with me in it, he's getting tied in a bag and chucked in the river:o How's that for you:D :D :D :D :D
