Having worked with us for 6 months and shared our two in the office, our surveyor is going to do the deed and buy his first GSD. I know nothing about this breed, but it may also get me away from my fear of GSD's. I want him to have a pet one, not show quality required but good lines. His Mum & Dad & us are hoping for one for his birthday in July.
Oh he's 24 and will be adding to our "kennels" here at work so dog will be with him 24/7. Lovely home, big fenced garden and he has dog sat for years! Im really confident he'll be a good "Dad". He's still at home so Mum & Dad are 100% with the idea and its a surprise from us all! But he get's to pick and be interviewed!
No idea what one is worth either! but I do not want him getting one out of the local paper.
Known him from birth as he's my son's mate and his mate (Sam) has a female labrador (Tikka) after chicken tikka (12 months old) and they spend all weekends up the farm!

Make sure that both sire and dam have been hip and elbow scored.  The elbow score should be 0 and the hips not more than 19 (BMS).  Both should be eye tested as well and the sire should be blood tested for Haemophilia.

Price for a good quality pet/show or working dog is circa £500 (from health tested parents)
